On June 28th, E.S. Wagner’s design-build interchange in Cleveland County, NC completed a major phase shift, rerouting westbound traffic onto the former eastbound lanes. This phase shift allows the project to begin construction of the new eastbound lanes, an interchange flyover bridge, and a mainline structure spanning a river. The project is scheduled to wrap up in the summer of 2027.
Having recently completed the first three segments of the US74 Shelby Bypass, this project is expanding on ESW’s legacy of infrastructure improvements in Cleveland County, NC.
