# 2026 US 6 & 24 Major Reconstruction Milestone

Our project reached a major milestone for Phase 1 by getting traffic switched into a one-lane configuration for each direction on the Eastbound US 6 & 24 lanes. This gave us access to begin the removal and replacement of the 6-mile stretch of Westbound lanes and ramps to provide a safer, smoother drive for the traveling public.
