In March of 2006, E.S. Wagner Co. was awarded a contract for the site work of a 220 acre distribution center in Holiday City, Ohio for Menards, Inc. The major items of work consisted of 1,298,907 cubic yards of excavation, 1,203,739 cubic yards of engineered fill, 76,622 cubic yards of topsoil place in berms, 300,000 tons of aggregate base course, 27,000 linear feet of storm drainage sized from 12 inch to 60 inch, and 155 drainage structures (inlets and manholes). The project had a completion date of October 20, 2006 with interior completion date after Phase I of August 1 and Phase 2 of September 15th.

Major challenges in completing the work on schedule included two major design changes issued by the owner. This resulted in the need to reorder the drainage structures which delayed the completion of Phase II grading. The building construction delayed the completion of Phase III until spring of 2007. However, E.S. Wagners work was completed to the complete satisfaction of Menards, Inc.
