ODOT 8007(00), I-75 Lucas County - $17,086,711
Scope:
Remove and replace I-75 bridges over Berdan, Detroit and Phillips Avenues including repair and asphalt paving of roadway.
Specs:
Remove and replace I-75 bridge over Berdan/Detroit, a 2,200' long twin structure with 5,700 CY of reinforced concrete decks. Each deck had to be removed and replaced in 120 days under a $10,000.00 per day penalty/incentive Remove and replace I-75 over Phillips Ave. a 220' long twin structure with 500 CY of reinforced concrete decks. Each deck replaced concurrently with the Berdan/Detroit bridge under the same penalty/incentive clause. Mill, make concrete pavement repairs and asphalt pave approx. 1 mile of I-75 both directions Incidental guardrail, lighting and safety upgrades Phases and total project completed ahead of schedule generating incentive payments for early completion.
